Sacred Beginnings

The southern sun shines brightly on this summers day
As the leaves of the great Mayall shades me
I sit alone in my sacred garden
Of all my precious plants and herbs
For I have gained their infinite knowledge
Now I absorb their mystical powers
The gentle northern breeze
Rustles through their leaves and flowers
Infusing the air with their sweet scent
Their aroma becomes quite therapeutic
As I muse over their ancient lore
And now my soul yearns to learn even more

All That is Her

By the air that is Her breath
By the fire that is Her spirit
By the flowing waters of Her living womb
And by the earth that is Her body
May the peace of the Goddess go in our hearts

Blessed be

Her Cycles

Springtime comes a busting and chattering into view
And with Her bringing gifts of green and everything thats new
Summer stretches lazily across the evening sun
And settles in a haze of heat when every day is done
Then autumn winds begin to stir and once again She tries
To paint the trees with brilliance and slowly watch them die
In winter theres a hushness a stillness all around
And patiently She waits to spread Her pureness on the ground
Often times I wonder at this swift and secret Friend
And when I think I know Her well I find Shes changed again

Out of the Mists

From out of the mists a vision comes of a lady cloaked in black a wise woman a witch a secret soul ---
she peers into my eyes thru those once my own
From out of the mists a world appears pushing this one apart the walls before me drift away they vanish with the wind ---
I see thru eyes once more my own I hear my muffled cries
From out of the mists a man appears bearing serpents on his wrists he kisses the crescent on my brow wipes the tears away ---
He whispers words of love as we watch the Lady watching smiling from above
Now into the mists my love and my self we journey deep within I find myself myself again I know that he still lives
I know not his name within this world ---
I love him all the same ---

Answer Me With Silence

From their new Album

When my search is fruitless
And my spirit pines for rest Setting sun a frozen field
Answer me with silence
Fill with light my longing soul
As the chill of winter grows
Tell me what the wide moors know
Answer me with silence
Say not your thoughts
Say nothing at all You, my love, you know me well
Touch me where my true heart dwells
Where there are no words to say
Answer me with silence
When my search is fruitless
And my spirit pines for rest
All things I hold dearest
Answer me with silence

Circle of Stone

From their newest album

Wind across Salisbury Plain Ancient stones stand in the rain
Silhouettes against the stormy night I walk in a counter spiral
Outside of this sunless dial Waiting hoping watching for a sign
I see shadows form and disappear In shades of grey
The flicker of a thousand lights
Voices are calling from another time a place
The name that echos here is mine Circle of stone I step inside
Falling through the window of time Oh circle of stone
Circle of stone Starts to spin No beginning and no end
Oh Circle of stone As I turn the storm above me rolls away
To reveal a dome of stars
The milky way seems to wink at me as if to say
We know exactly where you are Circle of stone
Turns inside Falling through the window of time Oh circle of stone
Circle of stone Forever spins
No beginning and no end Oh Circle of stone
Rising to the highest plain Nothings left undone In the universal plan
All things are one Circle of stone Turns inside
Falling through the window of time Oh circle of stone
Circle of stone Forever spins
No beginning and no end Oh Circle of stone
Wind across Salisbury Plain Ancient stones stand in the rain
Silhouettes against the stormy sky I walk in a clockwise spiral
Step out of this sunless dial Back into the darkness of the night
